Dr. Chatman Dr. Chatman specializes in foot and ankle surgery, holding a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Georgetown University and MedStar Washington Hospital Center, where he refined his expertise in advanced surgical techniques. Following this, he pursued a fellowship in Lower Extremity Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, further establishing his leadership in limb preservation for high-risk foot types. Currently, Dr. Chatman serves as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, where he also acts as the Fellowship Director and the residency liaison. His commitment to education is evident as he shares his extensive knowledge and experience with residents and fellows, shaping the next generation of surgeons. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Chatman is an integral part of a growing limb preservation center in Philadelphia, dedicated to advancing care for patients at risk for limb loss in the local community. While he contributes to research efforts in his field, his primary focus remains on providing high-quality surgical care and developing effective patient care protocols.
