Dr Bohn is a General Surgeon Board certified by the American Board of Surgery. In addition, he is board-certified in Hyperbaric and Undersea Medicine by the American Board of Preventative Medicine. Dr Bohn is also certified in Wound Care by the American Board of Wound Healing. For more than 10 years, Dr Bohn has served as the President of the American Board of Wound Healing, overseeing certification for physicians, nurses, and technologists across all wound care settings. As a member of the American Professional Wound Care Association, Dr Bohn has been recognized and honored with the designation of Masters level in wound care, MAPWCA. He currently serves as APWCA’s Vice President. He is the Past President of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care, a professional wound care organization. Dr Bohn was one of six National Medical Directors for Healogics, a large wound management company. In that role, he oversaw clinical practice and outcomes for a 6 state area.

He has published on a variety of Wound and Hyperbaric topics. Dr Bohn’s focus has been on chronic wound pathophysiology, biofilm, and the role of collagen in correcting protease imbalance in chronic wounds.

Mimi R. Borrelli, MBBS, PhD, MSc, MBA Cand, is the Associate Director, Franchise Lead for Belotero in the Global Medical Affairs department at Merz Aesthetic. She has a diverse background ranging from plastic surgery clinical practice, skin stem cell research, and industry. Mimi began her academic journey in the UK; she obtained a BSc in Experimental Psychology, an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience, and an MBBS from King’s College London before moving the US in 2017. Her passion for regenerative medicine led her to Stanford University in 2017, where she conducted research on skin stem cells, fibroblast heterogeneity, and wound healing. Her contributions during this time earned her a PhD, awarded by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. After her time in the laboratory, Mimi transitioned into clinical practice as a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Resident at Brown University. In 2023, she transitioned into industry; her first role in the Medical Affairs industry was as a Medical Science Liaison with AVITA Medical, a regenerative medicine company. In 2024, she took on the role as an Associate Medical Director with the Global Medical Affairs team at Merz Aesthetic. Mimi has a passion for research and has over 100 peer-reviewed publications, numerous research grants, and has presented at numerous at prestigious national and international conferences throughout her career.

Alongside her commitment to advancing the intersection of aesthetics and regenerative medicine, she is passionate about teaching and has been a tutor for the sciences and math for 13 years. Outside of her professional endeavors, Mimi enjoys making music, fine art painting, tennis, and yoga.

Dr. Chatman Dr. Chatman specializes in foot and ankle surgery, holding a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Georgetown University and MedStar Washington Hospital Center, where he refined his expertise in advanced surgical techniques. Following this, he pursued a fellowship in Lower Extremity Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, further establishing his leadership in limb preservation for high-risk foot types. Roselle Crombie, MD/MPH, FACS, FABA is a surgeon specializing in general surgery, burn surgery and surgical critical care at several of the Yale New Haven Health Systems flagship hospitals in Southern Connecticut. Her particular passion is a mix of burns, burn/ trauma reconstruction, wounds and general surgery. Her days include her busy practice constantly pushing for change and awareness in how we can improve care delivery locally and nationally. Education of the next generation of physicians and surgeons has remained an imperative part of her career as she is highly involved as faculty in the Department of Surgery, Yale School of Medicine over the course of her career and mentors the younger pre-health generation. She enjoys giving a variety of lectures to further the fields of her expertise.

Dr. Crombie holds a B.S. in Biology-Chemistry with Honors from Union College in Schenectady, NY. Her medical degree includes both an M.D. and M.P.H. from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and residency training in general surgery at Tufts University-New England Medical Center. Her post-graduate fellowships were in Burn Surgery and Surgical Critical Care at the Yale University School of Medicine where she currently remains on faculty. She holds board certifications in general surgery and surgical critical care.

Outside of her job nationally, she has served as the 32nd President of the North American Burn Society(NABS) 2014, served on the Ethics Committee, Epidemiology for the American Burn Association(ABA). She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Burn Association, and is actively serving as the Physician SIG Chair (ABA). She was recently appointed to be the Director at Large for the Board of the American Board of Wound Medicine and Surgery (ABWMS) and is currently the VP Program Chair for the CT American College of Surgeon’s Chapter, Executive Board, Chair of the Women’s Surgery group for the CTACS and involved in the Women’s Surgeon Groups within several national societies. She’s serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Burn Care and Research, Journal of Wound Care and has served on MRBP-CDRMP (Military Review for Burn Grants). She is a member of the Consensus Committee on Tissue Regeneration for the Journal of Wound Care setting standards for CAMPs. With a team of other burn colleagues, she sits as the VP of a non-for profit REACH Burn Foundation to support the needs of adult burn survivors. Additionally, she serves on the Board of the Burn Research Foundation. Her CV includes numerous publications, book chapters, lectures, recently an invitation for a DOD Grant formal submission.

Dr. Crombie is married to Mr. Brian Crombie and they each have another full-time job raising their three active children. They all enjoy family time on the water and are avid skiers

Dr. Simman is a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He is the founding president and chair of the American Board of Wound Medicine and Surgery, past president of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists. He sits on the editorial board of the Annals of Plastic Surgery and the Journal of Wound Care. He is Clinical Professor at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences, Department of Surgery. He is the Director of the Wound Care Program at Jobst Vascular Institute/ProMedica Health Network, Toledo, Ohio. His background includes training in General Surgery at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, Columbia University in New York, NY and a Plastic Surgery residency at Providence Hospital and Medical Centers in Southfield, Michigan. In addition, he completed a Burn Fellowship followed by a Wound Healing/Cultured Keratinocytes Research Fellowship at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He has published over 200 peer-reviewed papers, abstracts, letters and book chapters.

Dr. Robert J. Snyder received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Manhattan’s New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1975. To augment his degree, he completed coursework in Clinical Nutrition at Florida International University in Miami, FL and later received his Master of Science in Wound Healing and Tissue Science from Cardiff University at the University of Wales School of Medicine UK, where he remains an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Department of Dermatology and Wound Healing. Dr. Snyder also holds a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in health care from The George Washington University in our nation’s capital. Dr. Snyder is a designated Certified Wound Specialist Physician from the American Board of Wound Management, is a Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He has served as Professor and Director of Clinical Research at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine since 2011. Dr. Snyder is Past President of both the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care and the American Board of Wound Management. He also acted as Director of the Fellowship Program in Wound Healing and Clinical Research at Barry University. He is a member of the Academy of Physicians in Clinical Research and the American College of Healthcare Executives. Dr. Snyder has been Principal Investigator on more than 60 randomized- controlled trials regarding innovative wound healing therapies and has worked with Johnson & Johnson Wound Management Worldwide, Systagenix, KCI, Integra, Novartis, and Pfizer Pharmaceuticals among others in this regard. He has published more than 165 peer-reviewed and trade journal articles in The Lancet, Wounds, International Wound Journal and Advances in Skin & Wound Care among others and currently serves on several Editorial Advisory Boards. He is currently Associate Editor for the Journal of The American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Snyder has received numerous awards including the Dr Robert Warriner Memorial Award for Excellence in Wound Management and the SAWC Founders Award for his work in wound management education and research. Dr. Snyder was recently inducted as a Faculty Fellow in Podiatric Medicine, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow).

Dr. Stephanie Wu is Dean of the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Dr. Wu obtained her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Barry University School of Graduate Medical Sciences in 2001 and completed a three-year residency in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery (PM&S 36) at the Inova Fairfax Hospital/Northern Virginia Podiatric Residency Program in conjunction with the Medical College of Virginia. Her residency training included Lower Extremity Reconstruction and Diabetic Limb Salvage under the direction of Christopher Attinger, MD at Georgetown University Hospital, followed by a two-year Research Fellowship under the direction of David Armstrong, DPM, MD, PhD at RFUMS. Dr. Wu joined SCPM as an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery in 2004 and is currently a tenured professor in the Department of Podiatric Surgery and Applied Biomechanics. She also holds a joint appointment in SGPS through the Center for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Wu has taught at SCPM for over 19 years. Dr. Wu has more than 700 abstracts, book chapters, and peer-reviewed publications and has served as Principal Investigator in more than 70 clinical research trials.  She has received more than 60 awards including the Edward James Olmos Limb Preservation Award and the Podiatry Management Lifetime Achievement Award.  Dr. Wu is a highly sought-after lecturer at national and international forums and has given over 600 keynote lectures and presentations in over 38 countries.  Dr. Wu has served on numerous advisory panels globally including Latin America, the Middle East, and India, to guide physicians in their treatment algorithms for the diabetic foot and wound healing.
